Q1: Are we able to track how many times our sponsorship message is heard by our listeners? A1: Yes. Vigilmetrix–Stream tracks the sponsorship message, commonly referred to as the pre-roll, independently from the radio streaming. Two sets of reports will be provided for clients, one being for the pre-roll and the second for the radio station’s streaming sessions. Q2: How do we identify unique listeners? A2: Vigilmetrix–Stream is able to identify the uniqueness of a listener through their Internet protocol (IP) address. In the cases of some radio stations we are also able to add a second method of identification by using an identifier allocated by the media server. Q3: How do I install Vigilmetrix–Stream on my IT infrastructure? A3: Vigilmetrix-Stream does not require the installation of any code into your websites or your media streaming servers. All that is required is that your server logs be made available for import into our Vigilmetrix-Stream databases. In some cases extra field requirements may have to be made, but in most, it is simply a matter of making the log file available.
